Good reference to those that are new to animal physiology

This is a good reference book. I prefer the Hill et al. Animal Physiology, but I use both because each details things differently. If you are new the subject this is a great introductory text.

tough subject to make interesting.

Vertebrate Physiology is a dry subject and this book makes it even worse. It was very little help in the class room and the professor very seldom referred to it.
